‍Skanska have installed a Modutherm heat pump for the Hawking House project, Bristol.

The system will provide special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) students in the new accommodation centre with reliable and efficient heating, cooling and domestic hot water.

‍

We supplied a powerful 90kW AW Monobloc heat pump, Nordflex+ controller and 1,000-litre DHW storage vessel with a plate heat exchanger.

‍

The heat pump is from Modutherm's range of air source heat pumps with outputs ranging from 6kW – 90kW in heating mode and 4.5 - 66kW in cooling mode.

The AW Monobloc is a simple but powerful machine that meets heating, cooling and domestic hot water demands for commercial applications, such as apartment buildings, hotels & schools.

‍

Using the latest inverter + EVI (enhanced vapour injection) technology, the AW Monobloc is designed as a highly energy-efficient and stable heating solution.

‍

The AW Monobloc comes with a 5-year compressor warranty and a 3-year parts warranty.
